1. What's New?

Hi to you all, I hope you and your kitties are all well.

Spring is nearly upon us. It's still pretty cold here but the days are getting longer, which is nice - no more going to work and coming home in the dark!

With Spring comes a couple of issues in the cat world - loads of kittens and a sudden explosion in the flea population. In this ezine we'll look at the different flea treatments available for cats, and I'll tell you which ones I think are the best.

On the website quite a few more pages have gone up this month:

Your Cats

Once again I've had some great pictures and stories set in by website readers - here are links to them below:

Your Cat Photos and Stories

I've also started a new visitors' page where readers can ask me for advice on any cat problems they have, and I'll try my best to answer them:

Ask a Question

Here are the questions I've got so far, with my answers:

Visitors' Questions and Answers

If you want to send me a question about your cat, or a photo, or a story (or all three!) it's easy (and free) to do. You can comment on submissions from other visitors too. Just click here to get started.

I've also added a page on feline leukemia this month, it seems lots of people want information on this disease:

Feline Leukemia Test - How cat leukemia is diagnosed

2. Priscilla's Column

Hello! If you're new to this newsletter, let me introduce myself. I'm Priscilla, the real brains behind the Cat Behavior Explained website. My mummy writes it, but she'd never manage it without my help. If you've read my column before, hello again!

Here's a picture of me, I'm not really being rude, Mummy took this photo when I was washing myself. There's just no privacy round here...

My brother Terry jumped on top of the kitchen cabinets this month. He was hidden at the back and couldn't be seen from below. There are a few big plastic storage boxes up there, and he was sitting behind them.

Well Mummy's friend walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge. My greedy brother, who puts his stomach before everything else, thought he might be missing out on a treat. He shot forwards to jump down and sent the plastic boxes flying - they all fell on Mummy's friend's head. Terry then just sat on the edge of the cupboard and watched.

I thought Mummy's friend would need counseling to get over it, he got such a fright. I laughed so much I almost pulled a few muscles. Then I pinched the piece of chicken Mummy's friend had dropped on the floor by accident when the boxes walloped him on the head. This was obviously a real bonus, doubly so because I got it, not Terry who'd caused it to be dropped in the first place - ha ha!

Mummy says she's surprised she's got any friends left with me and Terry around. I just think humans make the biggest fuss over nothing...

See you next month!

4. And finally...

I got this picture as part of an email from of of my ezine readers (thank you very much, by the way!) The whole email was great, but unfortunately too long to put in the ezine. But I thought this picture which was in it was absolutely gorgeous..! Hope you like it too.

<>, I really hope you've enjoyed this edition of Kitty Chat. I'd love to hear your feedback, comments and suggestions for future content, so please feel free to click on this link and contact me using the form.
