Chino

My cat was found by a friend of mine, he was a tiny little kitty and we decided to keep him because he had been abandoned and it would have made us too sad to leave him alone.

When we were trying to think of a name, my friend wanted to call him "Free" but I wanted "Chino" for him (Chino means a Chinese person in Spanish).

We finally decided to call him "Chino" because when he was younger, (now he is 10 years old), the black lines of his eyes were more noticeable and gave him an oriental appearance. Because of this, we thought "Chino" was more suitable than "Free."

I think "Chino" is an original,funny name for a cat. These days I usually call my cat with the diminutive "Chinito" (it translates a bit like little Chinese, LOL)
