My sister and I got this cat when she was a small kitten...she is not so small anymore!
My sister wanted to name her Precious, because as you can see she is a large black and white cat and the name would fit her well, but I felt the name was too plain; I wanted the name to be Eddy, because she liked ice cream so I was thinking along the lines of "Eddy's Ice Cream." She thought Eddy was too much of a boy name.
It took us about two weeks to come up with a solution and it was actually our mother who thought of her name. We named her this because it was a fair compromise for the two names.
At first my sister hated the name but she eventually got used to it. Edwina ended up being the perfect name for our little kitty cat. We now not only call her Edwina but her nick name is Wienie.
