Some Great Female Kitten Names - Tarrantino

What a pretty girl

What a pretty girl

What a pretty girl She loves Vanilla Coke Tarrantino and El Gordo

When trying to think of female kitten names, Tarrantino just popped into my head, because she seemed like a character in a Quentin Tarantino film. I use two r's, because I just like it better that way.

I got her when she was six weeks old form a friend of a friend. She was so tiny, she fit in the palm of my hand, with room to spare. She did what she wanted, even if she knew she would get in trouble for it. She wasn't aggressive, but had no problem beating up a dog that could eat her in one bite. Think 7lb cat versus 90lb rott mix puppy. She won!

She is and was energetic in a crazy, bouncing off the walls way, lovey when she feels like it, and when she didn't, she let you know.

She's still only about 7.5lbs, and when she feels my roomie's cat is being a jerk, she puts him in his place, like the dominant queen of the house she is. He's 15lbs.

Reply from Liz (Editor): Many thanks for sharing your story and the great photos - she is really pretty and obviously a real little character. You can see how much smaller she is than El Gordo from the photo - glad to hear she can hold her own - extremely well by the sound of it!!

Sapphire

by Ariel
(USA)

When trying to think of female kitten names I wanted to name my kitten something that reminded me of her lovely light blue eyes that sparkle. I wanted her to have a name from jewels (like diamonds and rubies).

I went online to see what kind of names jewels have. Then I saw a jewel that had the same color as her eyes - and that's how she got her name.

Reply from Liz (Editor): That's a lovely name, and very appropriate... A friend of mine had a cat called Topaz, again because of the color of her eyes, but I've not come across a Sapphire before.

Many thanks for your contribution.

When my cat was just a tiny kitten I dropped a crumb off a muffin for her to eat. She loved it so much I had to give her more. After that day we called her muffin.

My female cat came to me as a stray. She was basically starving to death, but she had such fight and zest for life. For this reason I felt that the name Zesty was very suitable for her.

Reply from Liz (Editor): Many thanks for yours and Zesty's story, it's a great name, obviously perfect for her and it's really great that she found you - a happy ending for both of you.
