It was easy! She's a torbie, and her coloring looks like litter peppercorns.

Reply from Liz (Editor): That's a great name. One of my previous cats, Daisy, had torbie markings and we used to say it looked like someone had sprinkled pepper all over her back!

Wow! A flood of wonderful memories came back to me.
My first dog was named Pepper, he was a black and white German Shepard. That was back in the early 80's. Back in my high school days.
I have very fond memories of him.
