Pictures of Cats - Little Shadow

This is Shadow, my newly adopted 1 1/2 year old cat. I got him at Petco in the adoption section in the front of the store. Turns out he was being tossed from shelter to shelter and no one wanted him. Why you ask? I have no clue because he is just too perfect.

He follows you around like a little shadow and is nothing but a joy. His tag on the cage said laid back and shy but he has been everything but shy. A lap cat who loves to snuggle up and sleep at the end or the top of the bed. He doesn't like to be alone, which makes me wonder why he was called shy.

Being a shelter cat I'm not sure where he came from. All I know now is that he is happy to be out of that small cage and into the heart of someone who loves him. I snapped this picture of him sleeping on my couch like the little Prince he is.


Reply from Liz (Editor): He looks adorable, and really handsome - his markings are quite unusual. It's great you adopted him - it's always great to hear about a cat that's been unwanted but then finds a loving home. And if he was shy in the shop it sounds like he's definitely got over that now!
