It sounds very African and powerful. She is orange, so it sort of reminds me of a lioness.


Reply from Liz (editor): I think this is a lovely female kitten name. I looked it up to see what it means - in India "Sulah Kul" means universal peace and harmony.

I got to thinking a good male kitten name along the same lines would be Aslan, as in Aslan the lion in the C.S Lewis novel The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe...

Anyway, I'm digressing (sorry!) Many thanks for sharing your cat's lovely and unusual name.
